1. What Miyagai is

Miyagai is an AI-powered research search engine that provides answers, discovers findings, and continues researching topics in the background. The service is currently in beta and is provided as-is.

2. Acceptance

By using Miyagai, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may update these terms — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

3. Your account

• You can use Miyagai without an account for basic searches
• An account unlocks background research, notifications, and personalisation
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the service
• One account per person — no automated account creation

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Miyagai for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the service at scale
• Circumvent rate limits, authentication, or other security measures
• Submit queries designed to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
• Use automated tools to access the service without our written consent

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations.

5. AI-generated content

Miyagai uses artificial intelligence to generate research results. You acknowledge that:

• AI outputs may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information
• Results should not be treated as professional, medical, legal, or financial advice
• You are responsible for verifying information before acting on it
• Confidence scores indicate the AI's assessment, not guaranteed accuracy
• Sources are cited where available, but we do not guarantee source availability

6. Intellectual property

• Miyagai's code, design, and branding are our intellectual property
• Research results generated for you are yours to use
• You grant us a licence to use your queries and feedback to improve the service (anonymised and aggregated)
• Third-party content surfaced in findings belongs to its respective owners

7. Beta service

Miyagai is currently in beta. This means:

• Features may change, break, or be removed without notice
• We may experience downtime or data loss
• The service is free during beta — pricing may be introduced later
• We value your feedback and will use it to shape the product

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Miyagai is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to decisions made based on AI-generated content.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

9. Data & privacy

Your use of Miyagai is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect and how we use it.

10. Termination

You can stop using Miyagai at any time. You can request deletion of your account and data by emailing privacy@miyagai.com. We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
